Spribe launched Aviator in January 2019. The studio was founded in Tbilisi in August 2018 under CEO David Natroshvili. This page covers what Aviator is, how a round plays out, the math behind the multipliers.
How much you can stake, and how to stay in control while playing.
What Aviator Is
Aviator is a social multiplayer crash game built on an increasing curve that can crash at any moment. It is not a slot. There are no reels, no symbols, and no bonus rounds.
A small plane takes off and climbs. A multiplier starts at 1.00x and rises. Players cash out before the plane flies away. The longer you wait, the higher the potential win.
But if the plane crashes before you exit, you lose your stake for that bet.
The game runs on a provably fair system. This means the crash point is fixed before the round begins using cryptographic hashing. Players can verify results after each round.
Spribe reports 42 million to 50 million monthly active players across 60 countries. Africa accounts for about 35% of the player base. India is the fastest-growing market. In October 2023, Aviator alone reached over 10 million monthly players.
The game handles around 350,000 bets per minute.
| Market | Share | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Africa | 35% | Largest regional share |
| India | Fastest growth | Leading expansion market |
| Total countries | 60+ | Global availability |
| Monthly players | 10M+ | Aviator-specific, Oct 2023 |
There is no standalone official Aviator app from Spribe. The game runs inside licensed operator websites and apps. Apps named “Aviator” or “Aviator Predictor” on third-party stores are unaffiliated clones. They often carry disclaimers about virtual coins or display advertisements.
Prediction is impossible because the crash point is already committed by hash before take-off.

How a Round Works
A round lasts between 8 and 30 seconds. You can place one or two bets per round. Each bet panel operates independently. You can cash out each one at different times.
Rounds run continuously. Expect 60 to 90 rounds per hour. There is no waiting for other players. You join the next round as soon as you place a bet.
- Place your bet in the betting window before the round starts.
- Watch the plane climb and the multiplier rise from 1.00x.
- Click Cash Out before the crash to lock in your multiplier.
- If the plane crashes before you cash out, your stake is lost.
- View the result in the round history and verify if desired.
The interface includes two bet panels per round, each with Bet and Auto tabs. Auto Cash-Out lets you set a target multiplier to exit automatically. Auto Bet runs for 10 to 100 rounds with optional stop-on-win and stop-on-loss triggers.
The live bets panel shows three views: All Bets, My Bets, and Top. Top displays daily, monthly and all-time biggest wins. A round history strip sits below the plane. In-game chat allows messages, emojis and GIFs.
The Rain feature drops free bets into chat at random intervals. The first players to tap claim receive them. Operators can also grant Free Bets individually, in batches, or via API. Tournaments and races use leaderboards to rank players.

It runs in desktop, tablet and mobile browsers. You can try the aviator demo game spribe without registration. The build is optimized for low bandwidth and budget devices.
Multiplier Odds
Aviator has a return to player of 97%. The house edge is 3%. This applies to every bet regardless of strategy or timing.
The probability of reaching any multiplier m equals 0.97 divided by m. This produces the following odds:
| Target Multiplier | Probability | Hit Rate |
|---|---|---|
| 1.2x | 80.8% | 4 in 5 rounds |
| 1.5x | 64.7% | 2 in 3 rounds |
| 2x | 48.5% | Just under half |
| 3x | 32.3% | 1 in 3 rounds |
| 5x | 19.4% | 1 in 5 rounds |
| 10x | 9.7% | 1 in 10 rounds |
| 20x | 4.85% | 1 in 20 rounds |
| 50x | 1.94% | 1 in 50 rounds |
| 100x | 0.97% | 1 in 100 rounds |
About 3% of rounds crash instantly at 1.00x. This means roughly 1 in 33 rounds ends with no chance to cash out.
The expected value is minus 3% of your stake at every target. No betting pattern changes this. Rounds are independent. Past results do not influence future crashes.
Common strategies include auto cash-out between 1.5x and 2x, or splitting two bets with one exiting early and one aiming for 5x to 10x. Long targets of 5x to 50x are realistic but rare.
Progressive systems like Martingale double the stake after each loss and reach 1,024 times the base stake after 10 losses. This does not beat the 3% edge.

Typical stakes run from about $0.10 to $100 per bet. Exact limits vary by operator. Some focus on low minimums. Others emphasize high maximum wins.

Responsible Play
Set a budget before you start. Never use money you need for essential expenses. Decide your loss limit and stop when you reach it. Decide your win target and walk away when you hit it.
- Use no more than 2% of your bankroll per round.
- Set session time limits in your operator account.
- Take breaks every 20 to 30 minutes.
- Track your results honestly without selective memory.
- Start in demo mode to understand the pace before risking money.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there an official Aviator app I can download?
No official standalone app exists from Spribe. The game runs inside licensed operator websites and apps. Any app claiming to be an official Aviator download on third-party stores is an unaffiliated clone and may contain ads or virtual-coin disclaimers.
Can I predict when the plane will crash?
No prediction is possible. The crash point is determined by a SHA-256 hash published before the round begins. Player seeds combine with server data to fix the outcome before take-off. The provably fair system reveals inputs after the round for verification, but never before.
What is the best strategy to win at Aviator?
No strategy overcomes the 3% house edge. Common approaches include auto cash-out at 1.5x to 2x, or splitting two bets with different exit points. Progressive systems like Martingale, Fibonacci or D’Alembert increase risk without changing expected value.
The mathematically expected outcome remains a 3% loss over time.
Why do some rounds crash at 1.00x instantly?
About 3% of rounds crash immediately at 1.00x. This is built into the game mathematics and follows from the probability formula. It means roughly 1 in 33 rounds offers no opportunity to cash out. This is a normal part of the random distribution.
How do I know the game is fair?
Aviator uses provably fair technology. The server publishes a SHA-256 hash before each round. Client seeds from players combine with server data. The crash point is fixed before the plane appears. After the round, all inputs are revealed for checking in the in-game verification tool.
